Dr Troy Gianduzzo is a Brisbane urologist who trained under Professor Inderbir Gill in the USA and Dr Christopher Eden in the UK. Professor Gill is internationally recognised as the world’s leading authority in robotic and laparoscopic surgery while Dr Eden is recognised as an international authority in laparoscopic radical prostatectomy and has one of the largest experiences of laparosocpic radical prostatectomy in the world.

Dr Gianduzzo was the first internationally-trained urologist in Queensland to offer laparoscopic (key-hole) radical prostatectomy. He is the only internationally fellowship trained Urologist in Brisbane to offer both pure laparoscopic radical prostatectomy as well as robotic-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy. In addition Dr Gianduzzo has recieved international training in prostate brachytherapy and as such he is able to offer the full range of prostate cancer treatment options individally tailored to the patient's unique clinical situation.

Dr Gianduzzo specialises in Prostate Cancer treatment and screening as well as the treatment of other urological cancers such as kidney and bladder cancer and he also treats general urological conditions such as benign prostate enlargement and urinary stone disease. He is the recipient of numerous state, national and international prizes for urology. Dr Gianduzzo has published widely in leading international journals and has presented at international conferences including the American Urology Association Annual Meeting, World Congress of Endourology and SWL, and Engineering & Urology Society Annual Meeting.
